The Bauman Underground: Militant Epistemologies (6) - Theodor Adorno

Date
Date
Monday 17 May 2021, 4-5.30pm

Negative dialectics anyone? Jon Catlin (Princeton University) and Jack Palmer discuss the contemporary relevance of Theodor Adorno's hardcore Marxism.

They will focus on the significance of his newly translated lecture from 1967 Aspects of the New Right-Wing Extremism, recently published with Polity Press (2020).

The discussion emerges from a series of webinars on Adorno and Identity co-organised earlier this year by Jon Catlin as part of the Rhetoric programme at UC Berkeley.
