GET IT TOGETHER is a rousing call to arms for us all to play our part in creating a more equal society.

Zoe Williams believes that it’s not enough to sit back and watch as our NHS slides away from us; as the young and low earners are forced out of London; as hundreds of thousands of people nationally drift into poverty; as education becomes increasingly divided and as the wealthiest five people in Britain earn more than the poorest 20%.

Zoe brings together all the arguments that occupy the current political landscape and shows us that on all levels, it’s lunacy to be anything other than left-wing unless you’re actually already an oligarch. She offers us the debate in a truly entertaining way – and provides a road map for a better future that will be a major part of the debate in the run up to the election in May.

About Zoe

Zoe Williams is a highly accomplished writer, journalist and columnist who is a regular contributor to the Guardian, Spectator and New Statesman. She has also worked as a restaurant reviewer for the Sunday Telegraph.  Zoe was named columnist of the year at the WorkWorld media awards in 2010, and in 2012 was long-listed for the Orwell prize.

Zoe is most well known for her political and cultural commentary. Following her hugely successful column, ‘Diary of a Single Woman’, Williams published her first book in 2010, reissued in 2012 under a new title: 'What not to Expect when you're Expecting', which received widespread critical acclaim.

In addition to her prolific journalistic contributions, Williams makes regular television and radio appearances. Her participation in the BBC 4 documentary 'Teenage Kicks: the search for sophistication' was praised by Clive James as "A short piece to camera that was almost an Aria". Williams also presented the radio documentary 'Inside Academy School Revolution', and BBC Radio 4's 'What the Papers' Say'.

A supporter of the British Humanist Association, Williams describes her political views as left-wing, and frequently tackles feminist issues in much of her writing. When asked about her chosen profession, Williams described writing as an accident rather than a choice as "Everyone grows up writing. Writers are just people that don't stop".
